Senior Corporate Finance Specialist


The successful candidate will join a team responsible for managing and overseeing the provision of capital to the the bank and for oversight of the deleveraging processes being undertaken to meet the targets agreed with the Central Bank of Ireland.
The successful candidate will provide support to senior management in the execution of corporate finance transactions and provide advice on bank restructuring and debt capital market related issues. In addition there will be a requirement to review and manage work undertaken by external financial and legal advisors and to review work undertaken by the banks and their advisors. There will also be a requirement to prepare financial models, valuation materials, risk research and analysis, to review transaction and due diligence documentation and to monitor and report on the financial performance of individual financial institutions in which the Minister has an interest.
Experience in banking, capital markets, corporate finance and equity research would be desirable.
Key Requirements:-
• 3rd Level Qualification
• Minimum of 5 Years relevant experience
• Qualified Accountant/CFA
• A proven track record of achievement and ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment
• Result focused with a demonstrated ability to manage and execute multiple tasks within challenging deadlines
• Highly numerate with strong analysis skills
• Strong presentation and communication skills
• Effective team player
