Job Description
iQ Content are looking for an experienced, talented User Experience Design (UXD) Professional for a fixed-term contract role.
What you'll do
You will be responsible for the design of applications on web, mobile and tablet platforms. You will facilitate design workshops with stakeholders and other members of the project team to turn written requirements into the flows, screens and components that make an application. You will communicate your designs through written, illustrated specifications and in person. You will help establish and communicate design standards and guidelines within our clients, assisting application teams with understanding and implementing these design standards in their own project work.
Show us your work
We put a lot of stock in hard evidence of good design work, so your application should include a link to a portfolio of your work. Extra credit for a link to your blog, your published articles, a list of conferences and events you've spoken at or a solid history of contribution on UX StackExchange.
Try a UX Challenge
Maybe you do great work, but cannot share it for some reason. We understand, but we'd still like to see how you think, work and communicate on a UX project. If you cannot share a portfolio with us, we may ask you to attempt to solve a small UX problem that will demonstrate your skills to our hiring team.
Apply now
To apply, please send your CV with a covering letter saying why you are the right person for this role.

▪ Experienced: You have at least five years experience in a UX role. You either have a degree in a design discipline or in a UX discipline.
▪ Leader: You have strong people and project management skills, and are comfortable working either as a project leader or as a contributor to a team led by someone else.
▪ Communicator: You use data and design to make complex ideas clear and understandable. You present well, write well and do great presentations.
▪ Facilitator: You can plan and conduct meetings and workshops that help teams build a shared understanding of a problem and work collaboratively towards a solution.
▪ Organised: You are comfortable organising your time among multiple projects and can stay focused on getting the right things done at the right time.
▪ Technology savvy: You know enough about the capabilities and limitations of web and mobile technologies to collaborate with technology professionals on product design.
