Our Client - My client, an international Engineering company who operated internationally in the Energy and Mining sector is looking for Chief Mineral Process Engineer.
Job Description -
- Responsible for ensuring the efficient operation and performance of the Mineral Process Group both in the servicing of individual projects and pursuance of strategic goals and management policies.
- Responsible for the administration, overall technical directions and co-ordination of all process engineering design work carried out by the group.
- Ensure that the service provided by the Mineral Process Group on projects is effective by routine consultation with project managers, reviewing progress reports and implementing positive management strategies.
- Review computer aided resources in the Mineral Process Group to ensure maintenance of up to date resources.
- Responsible for forward planning and assessment of technical and human resources to ensure that the duties of the Mineral Process Group are carried out within the agreed manhour budgets, cost budgets and time schedules.
- Develop, review and approve project and proposal estimates and schedules by referencing the project scope of work and discussing the estimates and schedules with his / her engineers and those of other disciplines.
- Engage with client market to effectively promote the technical capability of FWSA.
Candidate Requirements -
- Budget control.
- Quality of project deliverables.
- Competencies, Skills & Experience.
- Engineering/Metallurgy/Mineral Processing Degree BSc, BEng or BTech (with minimum of 15 years experience).
- Professional Registration.
- 12+ years relevant experience.
- Broad mineral processing experience across multiple mineral commodities.
- Thorough knowledge and experience of design processes.
- Good team management skills.
