Head of Ownership Risk
NBIM seeks a dedicated and result oriented manager to the Ownership Risk group. The group is responsible for defining the theoretical foundations and principles upon which our Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) activities are based.
The position is located in Oslo, and travel will be required.
Main Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement strategies on defined focus areas
• Manage and co-ordinate a team of experienced analysts
• Formulate Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) and ownership principles
• Develop theoretical and empirical anchoring for NBIM’s ownership policies and principles
• Facilitate efficient communication and interaction with internal stakeholders
Main Qualifications:
• Master’s degree or PhD with strong academic records
• Minimum 8 years relevant experience from international business, academia or the fields of responsible investments
• Excellent understanding of current issues relating to corporate social responsibility, sustainable development and general environmental, social and governance issues
• Proven results from development and management of high performing teams
• High level of integrity and authenticity
• Structured, flexible and self-driven, with the ability to seek innovative solutions
• Strong communication skills and working proficiency in written and spoken English
Fluency in written and spoken Norwegian will be an advantage.
