The UNIDO Evaluation Group is looking for one international evaluation consultant to undertake the independent evaluation of the UNIDO Trade Trust Fund.
This independent evaluation is foreseen to be conducted between October to December 2012, starting on 15 October 2012. The selection of the international evaluation consultant will be based on the strength of qualifications presented by potential candidates through their expressions of interest in this assignment.

Duration of contract: 42 days spread over 3 months
Entry on duty date: 15 October 2012
Duty station: Vienna HQ and home based
Qualifications
· Advanced university degree in economics, development studies or other fields related to trade/industrial development;
· Experience in evaluation and supervision of evaluation teams;
· Experience in evaluation of trade-related projects/programmes;
· Knowledge about multilateral technical cooperation and the UN, international development priorities and frameworks (MDGs, Paris Declaration, etc) desirable;
· Knowledge of UNIDO activities an asset;
· Working experience within the UN system an asset.
