Media Analyst – Jakarta, Indonesia


PRSF is a joint facility between AusAID and the Government of Indonesia to improve the quality of policy advice for poverty programs in Indonesia.
To support the work of the TNP2K PNPM Working Group 6 in carrying out “stocktaking” field visits and field visits for orientation as part of the PNPM Road Map for the sustainability of PNPM Mandiri.
To succeed in this role, you will have demonstrated:
  • Relevant Degree (Master’s Degree is Preferred);
  • Relevant professional qualifications, although journalism, psychology, business studies, communications, media studies, marketing, or management qualifications may be helpful. More than 5 years of experience in graphic designing, brand visual identity development, website/blog development.
  • Extensive experience in public communications, media and journalism.
  • Proven experience in media monitoring, media analysis, and other media related activities
  • Understand the situation of Indonesian media, media classification, and media trend both at the national and local level.
  • Good understanding of Poverty Alleviation Programs and related issues
  • Extensive experience in working with private organizations, MNCs, SOEs, International Agencies, Government Agencies and the media.
  • Technical Skills:
  1. Strong skills in media analysis methodology, media content management (i.e.: framing analysis), and political aspect of media development.
  2.  Familiar with quantitative tool (if necessary) and qualitative tool for media analysis
  3. Strong presentation skills and able to develop executive level presentation report for strategic understanding.
