Working with the Regional Manager, Leadership team and Principals within the business, you will lead the WA Region Business Development function, growing the business and working in a great team environment.
About the role
As a member of the Coffey Environments team, reporting directly to the Regional Service Line Manager for WA, the main objective of this role is to lead the business function, working closely with management and technical teams to develop and win projects for delivery.
Working closely with the broader Global Business Development Team and indirectly reporting to the Global Business Development Manager, you will have cohesive working relationships and a united approach to identify, pursue and win strategic opportunities that contribute to and achieve business results and drive organic revenue growth.
The role involves:
- Establishing new business relationships in the external market and leading local strategic pursuits
- Expanding existing relationships and services with current clients and coaching professional and technical staff to develop relationships, identify opportunities and continuously deliver exceptional client service
- Proactively identifying market development opportunities
- Involvement in a range of marketing and business development activities

About you
Ideally you will have:
- Proven experience in sales or business development obtained from working as an Environmental Scientist / Manager or similar professional services environment
- WA market knowledge and credentials
- Bachelor degree in Science, Business, Commerce, Marketing or Engineering
- BD Experience in the local mining, oil/gas or infrastructure industry would be held in high regard
- Experience in bid and proposal management
- Exceptional ability to build, strengthen and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders and clients
- Communication skills are of paramount importance
