The Role
Reporting to the Business Development Manager for Information and working closely with the Western Australian Information management team, the Business Development Associate will initiate key market-facing activities to accelerate our sales effectiveness and drive organic growth within the region.
 
The Business Development Associate will nurture proactive relationships with all external and internal stakeholders with a very strong focus on growing Coffey’s revenue. You will be responsible for driving revenue generating activities that result in a preferred provision of Coffey Information services to new and current clients and priority and core accounts in a sustainable manner within the region.  

Your critical accountabilities will include;
  • Contributing to, supporting and driving an effective regional growth    strategy
  • Ensuring the deployment of the business development strategy, methodologies and tools as they develop in the local region
  • Working with the Information management team and technical community to identify priority local accounts and drive opportunities
  • Identifying, pursuing and winning major project bids and tenders
  • Maximising sales opportunities within the existing client portfolio
The personEssential to success in this role will be your demonstrated ability to build and pursue relationships with potential or longstanding cliental, your proven results in determining client needs and selling industry specific technical solutions and your experience in tender preparation. You will have well developed networks and relevant local industry and industry market knowledge.

Critical to the role will be your flexibility to travel within the region to meet internal and external stakeholders.
Relevant memberships with recognised professional associations will be beneficial and a tertiary qualification or certificate in a related business discipline would be advantageous.
