Logistics Manager
Place of work: Saudi Arabia, Riyadh
Key Responsibilities
- Reports to the Program Director
- Provides management and daily oversight of all logistics, procurement and supply personnel in direct support of operations.
- Establishes procedures and monitors performance controlsin the logistics, procurement and supply departments, designed to integrating and optimizing the performance of operations.
- Oversees logistical requirements of multiple; clients, vendors, service centers, engineering groups, project managers, maintenance department personnel, supply and procurement personnel and other operations managers to seamlessly integrate logistics, procurement and supply operations, establishing accountability, completestart to finish visibility of all program asset in the supply chainand maintaining the operational status of all critical assets.
Key Qualifications
- Must be able to obtain a Saudi work Visa through the U.S. Saudi Arabian embassy.
- Must have at minimum bachelor’s degree (“on-line” degrees will not be accepted).
- Preferred degrees and or certifications in; Business, Logistics or related field.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Excellent presentation skills.
- Arabic language a plus.
- Must be able to work with many personnel in a multi-cultural / national environment.
- Must be able to respect and comply with all local laws and customs.
Minimum Experience Requirements
- Strong direct management experience in Logistics/Supply/Procurement Operations management.
- Experience using leadership and management tools and techniques.
- Extensive experience with Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience establishing procedures and maintain controls in order to optimize the efficiency and performance of logistics/supply operations.
Preferred Experience Requirements
- ERP implementations and operations.
- Automatic Identification Technology implementations and operations.
- ISO / Lean 6 projectexperience preferred.
- Experience working in Saudi Arabia or the Middle East.
- Experience working with CMMS or other maintenance management systems.
- Experience working in collaborative and cross-domain environments.
