Salary: $85,203 - $101,175 p.a. (Level B)  or $104,370 - $120,344 p.a. (Level C) plus 9% superannuation. Level of appointment is subject to the appointee's research record, qualifications and experience. 
The Melbourne School of Engineering teaches into engineering pathways and breadth studies in non-engineering undergraduate degrees of the University and offers the engineering professional accreditation qualification at the Masters level. The Department of Computing and Information Systems is seeking an outstanding Research Fellow to work with a team of researchers conducting leading-edge research in the area of collaborative systems and artificial intelligence.
The successful candidate will conduct leading-edge research and development in the area of collaborative systems. The work is part of an ARC funded project, "Foundations of human-agent collaboration: situation-relevant information sharing". You will be involved in conceptual analysis of joint human-machine activity, development of mechanisms for collaborative systems involving mixed teams of humans, software agents, and robots, and development of software tools to support coordination of the interdependencies among the activities of the participants.
