About Your Job:
An exciting role with the opportunity to join one of the most dynamic divisions!
Being the Events and Exhibitions Specialist you will plan, manage, coordinate and execute Qatar Airways events and exhibitions ensuring its success. You will witness QR’s events, new destinations and products launches, air shows with worldwide network to help expand Qatar Airways brand name globally.
Moreover you will identify and evaluate new event and exhibition business opportunities. Initially you will be involved in the selection and negotiation with outside vendors, suppliers, organizations to ensure proper, efficient, cost effective execution of all logistical and operational aspects of events. Preparing events’ budgets shall be one of your interesting tasks as well. You will coordinate production and supply of promotional items. We expect you to suggest improvements, documenting processes and create best practices documents. You will be also in charge of training and mentoring junior staff.

About You:
We
are looking for applicants with impeccable written and verbal English
communication skills who have full understanding of event sales cycle.
You will also hold a Bachelor’s degree in advertising, marketing, public relations, communications or relevant discipline. A minimum of 5 years of job related experience is essential to be able to perform. You have to possess strong time and project management skills with great attention to details.
