Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading major marketing and new product launch initiatives across the region for IT (Note PC, Printers, Monitor) category. He/ she will work closely with the global and regional business units, together with subsidiary markets, to deliver the target sales, market share, brand equity and profit growth. Key activities involve:
- Lead and develop major marketing initiatives in new products launches, retail and all areas of consumer experience marketing. Work with agencies on regional launches of flagship models – including launch event, PR/ Buzz creation, and support subsidiaries in local launches as needed
- Co-work with Trade Marketing and Content & Services team for strengthening retail, in-store display, and experience marketing – both in Samsung Brand shops and other retail channels.
- Facilitate regional and local co-marketing plan development and alignment with Intel/ Microsoft and with Samsung HQ.
- Coordinate key meetings including agenda setting and logistics management e.g. Bi-annual Strategic Meetings, Key Product meetings, and any other ad-hoc meeting.
Desired Skills & Experience
- Possess a Degree in Marketing
- Prior experience of 7-8 years with strong track record of delivering results. Preference for experience in a well established MNC and in technology sector.
- Strong Collaboration – ability to collaborate with both internal & external parties, energize teams towards common objectives
- Communicates well, both verbal & written, across all cultures and across hierarchy
- Independent, self-motivated with good analytical and adaptability skills. Ability to work under pressure with quick decision making.
- Ability to travel regionally (~50%) and at short notice.
