Facilitator for Parent and Family Programs

Part-time hands-on experiential education specialist for parent and engagement programs for preschool thrugh early elementary attendance program. (Perfectly Punctual Campaign)

Learning and leadership in Families d/b/a LernLead, a non-profit early childhood education organization (www.llfinc.org) seeks experiential education professioanls to facilitate hands-on sessions for parents and/or families participating in it Perfectly Punctual CAmpaign. The campaign engages parents and families in understanding the benefits of consistent on-time attendance to success in school.

Skills: 3-5 years of experience in hands-on activities in early childhood education, museum education, music education, outdoor education or otheer hands-on engagement environment. Training, materials and supervision provided using tested protocol. potential as we progress to collaborate on new programs.

The successful cadidate will:

Establish a warm, respectful and playful environment for adults and children
Convey reserach infromation and its application to everyday circumstances in a substnative but playful manner
Facilitate hands-on arts relatd projects that result in useful take-home products for families
Frequency: Estimate 3-5 sessions per month from February through April or May

Hours:

Parent programs during the week, 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
Family programs during the evening
Training during the day at mutualy agreed upon schedule
