Human Resources Officer, Business Partnership

Job Purpose
This role will be working with the Commercial HR Business Partner team to provide line management with advice and support for all HR transactional activity including employment law, policy, recruitment, training, and performance management and employee administration.
Responsibilities
  • Provide guidance to line management and colleagues in the interpretation of local employment law and Etihad HR Policy
  • Support line management to complete job descriptions that relate specifically to the requirements of the role and are reviewed and evaluated accordingly. Ensure all roles have completed and evaluated job descriptions
  • Report and track Divisional recruitment activity and status, performance management status, annual leave balance, manpower requests, employee changes forms, talent grids and succession plans
  • Support line management with mandatory training activity by providing information from the Training Academy about available training products that will develop the capability of all employees
  • Advise line management of the performance management process, templates and policy. Ensure that all employees have a performance plan in place, mid year review and end year appraisal
  • Disciplinary and repeated unsatisfactory performance - creates investigation files and related documentations and maintain database. Support Line Manager with investigation, note taking, meeting transactions, witness statements and final review
  • Ensure all departmental and divisional organisation charts are aligned to the business and approved. Advise HR Services ensuring that all Oracle people reporting lines are updated regularly
  • Maintain effective office management principles and support HR BP with day to day administrative duties
RequirementsQualification & Education:
  • Degree level education and/or CIPD Certificate in HR and/or Training (or equivalent)
  • About five years of progressive experience in human resources positions in a multinational company. 
  • Proven ability in communicating within a multicultural workforce is essential
  • Proficiency in HR principles; employment law, recruitment, performance management
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Fluency in English
