It is a leading business information provider dedicated to strengthening the microfinance sector. The organization’s core focus is to provide objective data and analysis on microfinance providers. MIX provides detailed financial and social performance information from MFIs, as well as business information from market facilitators and leading donor organizations and investors in microfinance.
About the Job:
MIX is seeking a Market Intelligence Analyst for its market intelligence product to build and deliver insight on microfinance markets around the globe in partnership with MIX's global team of analysts, partners and MFIs. S/he will support the creation and delivery of the market intelligence offering in close collaboration with MIX Market Intelligence Lead and MIX's regional analyst team. The ideal candidate will have a background in country analysis in banking, ratings, financial services, or at a public policy think tank or experience in research and analytics roles from consulting firms.

Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Managing the pipeline of market intelligence products for various markets, keeping analysts and managers aware of the pipeline status;
- Working with the regional analysts to develop and finalize their country briefings and quarterly updates, by:
- Helping refine ideas for each report;
- Supporting templates and other tool development;
- Reviewing and providing feedback on draft analysis;
- Finalizing analysis to deliver a product that is standard across all analysts and markets.
- Running quarterly market surveys and compiling data for market forecasts;
- Managing online content delivery.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree (MBA preferred);
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a relevant analyst position;
- Strong preference for experience in a consulting, research, banking or public policy think tank organization;
- Excellent quantitative skills (e.g. Excel models);
- Superior written and verbal communication skills in English;
- Excellent attention to detail for delivery of client-ready products;
- Excellent teamwork skills;
- Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority.
