Regional Network Administrator - Latin America

About the Job: 
FINCA International is looking for a Regional Network Administrator (RNA) - Latin America. The RNA will be responsible for the design, planning, implementation, execution, supervision, and controls of the network infrastructure of the region as well as the technical contact in the data center for Latin America. The RNA will also provide technical support for the country and regional data center’s local area network (LAN) and wide area network (WAN) environment, storage, backup, generator(s) and UPS(s). S/he will also be responsible for maintaining the availability of system to ensure the country end user productivity.
Tasks and Responsibilities: 
  • Plan and organize (20%);
  • Acquire and implement (30%);
  • Deliver and support (30%);
  • Monitor and evaluate (20%).
Qualifications: 
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other technical field;
  • Must have strong SNMP and networking experience with an understanding of Netflow, SNMP and TCP/IP;
  • Experienced in both operating and configuring multiple network management system applications like CA Spectrum, IBM Netcool, CA NetQoS, CNCM, Packet Design, Arcsight, Prognosis and OPNET;
  • Configuration experience with Cisco Routers and Switches;
  • Proficient with Windows Server, Linux and UNIX;
  • Knowledge with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and Microsoft server products;
  • Network Protocol experience(ATM, TCP/IP, MPLS);
  • Network Management experience and a technical. certification such as Network+, Linux+, CCNA, MCSA, MCSE, Security+, A+;
  • Proficiency in routing technology and protocols such as IP, BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP;
  • Fundamental WAN and LAN knowledge;
  • Excellent abilities of technical writing and documentation;
  • Strong problem solving and communication skills across all levels of the business;
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions;
  • Management experience for application support / helpdesk infrastructure;
  • Experience releases management/process in a production environment;
  • Thrives well under pressure and is a creative and diligent problem solver;
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills of English and fluent Spanish languages;
  • Ability to present information and ideas clearly and concisely;
  • Strong leadership skills with proven capacity to direct, to influence and to motivate the team under management;
  • Excellent capacity to present and to explain the information, persuade others, and promote the understanding and the consensus;
  • Proven success in contributing to a team oriented environment;
  • Proven ability to balance, prioritize, and organize multiple tasks;
  • High level of energy, creativity, flexibility, enthusiasm and commitment, self confidence, and initiative;
  • Accuracy, attention to detail and awareness of deadlines;
  • A hard working self-starter with initiative and ability to set own priorities;
  • Disposition to travel out of his/her place of origin up to 75% time possible;
  • Strong commitment to the social mission of FINCA;
  • At least 5 to 8 years of experience in demonstrated network engineering and design, OSI model, TCP/IP, routing protocols, Cisco router experience and/or switch configuration and troubleshooting;
  • Experience in analysis of business operational processes desirable.
