BMS Engineer Estates Directorate, The Malthouse, Oxford

Grade 6: £26,004 - £31,020 with a discretionary range to £33,884 p.a.
The Estates Directorate is seeking an experienced Building Management System (BMS) Engineer to operate, modify and programme the University’s TREND BMS system.

Reporting to the Mechanical Engineering section but working in conjunction with the Sustainability team, you will deliver energy savings by monitoring and improving the performance of the system. This will include the reprogramming the control strategy, managing contractors, supporting BMS elements of capital projects and training building managers.

You will have been fully TREND trained in System Engineering, IQ Engineering, and 963 Engineering and have a good understanding of System Engineering Tools (SET). You must have extensive experience of the design and programming of TREND 963 strategy ideally related to energy efficiency. Your experience of BMS maintenance will be supported by strong technical problem solving skills and an ability to communicate with and persuade non-technical staff. Some experience of capital projects, contractor management and training staff in BMS operations would be desirable.

This post may receive a market pay supplement to increase the salary to £35,000 p.a.
