The KEMRI-Wellcome Trust Research Programme has a strong record of conducting high quality clinical research in a broad range of settings. This includes clinical epidemiology, bed side pathophysiology and clinical trials of existing and new treatments and vaccines that are urgently needed for diseases that present a high burden for developing countries.
We are looking for a Head of Clinical Research to lead and coordinate clinical research within the programme to ensure that it fulfils its potential as a leading centre for clinical research in Africa.
You will have a PhD, MD or equivalent in a field related to health research with a proven track record in initiating and conduction clinical research especially in Africa. You will have experience of working with Ministries of Health in Africa and have the ability to raise research funding.
