Job Summary

Cardno Emerging Markets USA, Ltd. (Cardno) is currently seeking a Gender Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

The Gender Specialist will be responsible for the following:

• Analyze issues that may particularly affect women or vulnerable groups
• Formulate a gender integration plan and implement activities of the plan
• Provide guidance on organizing women into associations
• Develop targeted training modules to improve productivity of women’s activities, and inclusion of women.

Other Requirements

• ​Advanced degree relevant to gender in development required, PHD preferred
• Experience in community development planning, including analysis of gender issues for large and complex infrastructure projects, and development of gender integration plans
• Experience in mainstreaming gender-related activities in broader development efforts
• Must have expertise in gender assessment
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills required
