Job Title: Nutritionist Specialist Project: Darbhanga nutritional project, Biraul, Bihar State Country: India Management: Hierarchically accountable to Field Coordinator and functionally to Medical Coordinator. Start date: 01/02/2013 Duration: 6 months
MAIN OBJECTIVES OF POSITION 1) To do an in-depth analyses of the nutritional habits and richness of usual diets of the children under 5 years and pregnant and lactating women at Biraul Block. 2) Provide technical support and analysis for the nutritional survey/assessment to be done among pregnant and lactating women, including definition of possible future new activities based on the results 3) Provide technical support and analyses for the annual coverage survey to be done. 4) To provide technical support for the 2 years analysis of the nutritional programme REQUIREMENTS
Education: Essential diploma in nutrition specialist Languages: Good oral and written English essential Experience: Essential working experience of at least two years in nutrition related jobs Essential previous experience in design and implementation of nutritional surveys/assessments
Knowledge: Essential computer literacy (Word, Excel and Internet)
