Technical Analyst Fertilizers Europe

48% of the current global population is fed thanks to the use of mineral fertilizers.

We currently seek a Technical Analyst to join our team:

Fertilizers Europe represents the interests of the European fertilizer industry. We are the source of information on fertilizers and the sector’s voice in Europe. We deal with questions related to agriculture, environment, technology, safety, economy and trade, as well as supporting our members with statistics and other information.

Our offices are located in Brussels and we have a multi-cultural team of 12 staff members.

Your challenges:

  • Assist in the management and coordination in the technical area;
  • Support the statistical team;
  • Organize safety activities (statistics, seminar, rapid alert system);
  • Maintain carbon footprint calculating tool;
  • Produce environmental statistics and other statistics;
  • Communicate with EU-institutions and other stakeholders.

Your key skills

  • Degree in engineering or economics with 3 – 5 years of working experience;
  • Strong analytical skills, computer skills and experience in statistics and data management;
  • Strong oral and written communication skills in English;
  • Fluency in other European languages and advantage;
  • Relevant business background an advantage.

Your personality

  • Ability to work independently and take initiatives, but also a team player, able to cooperate with team members;
  • Organised and structured mind to deal with large quantities of work and strict deadlines;
  • Ability to communicate and work in a multicultural environment.
