The primary objective of the Regional Agricultural Development Program (RADP) is to foster economic growth for farmers and agribusiness, strengthen market access, build food security, and enhance high agricultural value chains.

| Position Summary | ||
Based in Kandahar, the Deputy Chief of Party (DCOP) will lead a multi-disciplinary team of full-time and short-term technical specialists in project implementation. Besides overseeing technical operations and technical reporting, the DCOP must have a good knowledge of the GIRoA agricultural institutional framework and strong working experience in agriculture, preferably in several agricultural sub-sectors. This person will be responsible for assuming Chief of Party (COP) responsibilities when the COP is absent from Afghanistan. Qualified candidates will have expertise in two or more of the following areas:

Master’s Degree or higher in agricultural production, agricultural science, water resources management, international development, business management or related field.
