An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Program Officer, to support the work of The Fred Hollows Foundation. Working in partnership with a number of Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisations, you will oversee the delivery and coordination of the Katherine Region Integrated Eye Health Program (KRIEHP) to ensure program outcomes are delivered that strengthen the current eye health system via the management of a more streamlined and coordinated approach.
Your ability to build and maintain strong external relationships, along with a flexible and determined disposition will be critical to your success in this role. A proven track record in program coordination and management is essential. In addition you will have a strong understanding and working knowledge of the diverse circumstances and cultures of Indigenous Australians.
The ability to travel to remote communities and domestically is essential.
