We currently seek a Trade and Business Analyst to join our team:
Fertilizers Europe represents the interests of the European fertilizer industry. We are the source of information on fertilizers and the sector’s voice in Europe. We deal with questions related to agriculture, environment, technology, safety, economy and trade, as well as supporting our members with statistics and other information.
Our offices are located in Brussels and we have a multi-cultural team of 12 staff members.
Your challenges:
- Analyse trade and financial information and data to write reports on fertilizer markets and agricultural issues;
- Update market and intelligence reports and data;
- Develop market expertise in fertilizer issues;
- Assist in engagement with member companies, European institutions and government/regulatory authorities;
- Collaborate with other analysts on research and articles;
- Participate in various working committees and/or projects.
Your key skills:
- University degree in economics with 3 - 5 years working experience, preferably within European environment;
- Strong analytical ability and handling and use of statistical issues and data management;
- Advanced computer skills, especially database management Excel and Access;
- Strong oral and written communication skills in English;
- Fluency in other European languages an advantage;
- Relevant business background an advantage.

- Ability to work independently and take initiatives, but also a team player, able to cooperate with team members;
- Organised and structured mind to deal with large quantities of work and strict deadlines;
- Ability to communicate and work in a multicultural environment.
