Head of Teaching Development University of Hull

Salary range £46,846 - £52,706 pa

This new and exciting post forms part of the Curriculum Development and Teaching Enhancement (CDTE) Directorate at the University of Hull. Reporting to the Director of CDTE, the post holder will play a key role in meeting the University's learning and teaching strategic priorities. The successful candidate will lead on the design, coordination and delivery of professional development opportunities for staff and will support the Director in delivering key elements of the University's ambitious three year curriculum review programme.
As a senior member of the CDTE team, the post holder will be expected to work with a high degree of autonomy and develop close working relationships with key stakeholders across the University.
The role requires skills in teaching and liaison and involves advising and guiding academic colleagues in curriculum development, teaching and career development activities. Ideally educated to post-graduate level, candidates must be able to demonstrate good knowledge and experience of teaching and learning in HE and the ability to model good practice to others. An attractive relocation package of up to £10,000 is also available.
