Communications Coordinator at RMIT University

  • $71,939-$77,869 pa. + 17% super (pro-rata)

The Student Services Group is part of the Office of the Dean of Students and plays a key role in enhancing the student experience across the whole of RMIT.  The group is responsible for support to International students, students living with disabilities, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students and students from low socio economic backgrounds.
An opportunity has arisen for a Communications Coordinator to join the team in this maternity replacement contract where you will work with other members of the student services group to coordinate and execute a range of strategic electronic and print communications including websites, communications for social media, brochures, posters and other print-based collateral.
Working with the Communications Manager, as the successful candidate you will provide expert communications advice and assistance across the entire Student Services Group with all electronic and print-based communications.  Your demonstrated knowledge and experience working with a wide range of communication options together with your ability to work with websites and implement publications including formulating briefs, writing and editing content, proof-reading etc will be essential.  Furthermore your experience in managing a range of complex communication projects with a clear understanding and experience with communications planning, brand, branding and editorial style will be paramount to your success in this role.
