Qualifications: Bachelor s degree in Accounting or Finance
MBA, CPA or equivalent experience
* 9+ years professional Finance/Accounting experience, with expertise in budgeting, long-range planning, and advanced financial analytics
* 4+ years of demonstrated leadership experience
* Excellent oral and written communication skills with executive level presentation experience
* Expert in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Duties: This position will direct and lead the overall preparation and presentation of accurate, timely and relevant financial reporting, planning and analysis for TBS International, much of which has a strategic focus. The Director serves as a financial advisor by having an in-depth understanding of the industry, Turner s international business and strategies, as well as economic and technological factors that impact the business. Responsibilities include leading the preparation and development of the budget and long-range plan, overseeing the monthly forecast process, preparing consolidated variances and creating and publishing reports and scorecards focused on financial results, business drivers and strategic goals. This position will also provide detailed analytical support for operational initiatives and capital investments. This position provides strategic leadership to the financial analysis team. This position requires a wide degree of autonomy in decision-making, resourcefulness and pro-activity.
