Education Officer - Policy

(6 month temporary contract) 
based in HQ office London Bridge
The British Association and College of Occupational Therapists (BAOT/COT) is the only professional body for occupational therapists in the UK, acting as a voice for the profession and providing trade union membership. It has 29,000 occupational therapy staff and students in membership.

The Education and Learning Team at COT are seeking additional support from an experienced occupational therapist with a keen interest and knowledge in the field of occupational therapy education to undertake collaborative project work with members of the team.

We are looking for someone who is interested in a short term 6 month contract to complete a range of tasks which may include:

Salary £13,000 for 21 hours per week for 6 months (FTE £43,333 per annum)
work on the review of COT’s Education Standards and Curriculum Guidance for Pre-registration Education;
development of learning resources for BAOT members;
responding to and or advising on external requests received by the Head of Education and Learning and supporting the development of CPD resources on the COT website.
