Field Service Engineer - Healthcare - Frankfurt.
A world leading manufacturer and servicer of Medical Devices, primarily imaging and oncology devices, are looking to recruit a Field Service Engineer to join their expanding Servicing Team, to be based in Frankfurt.
The main roles and responsibilities of the Field Service Engineer will be to carry out scheduled maintenance, fault finding, diagnosis and repair of the company's complex oncology devices. This will either be carried out on the customer's site or via a phone and email. The Engineer will also be encouraged to provide feedback to the company's head office in the US on ways of how to improve the devices.
To be considered for the Field Service Engineer opportunity you must have the following:
*A high level of experience with servicing and repairing complex electrical equipment, ideally medical devices, however, this is not mandatory. Other ideal backgrounds include Semiconductors, Nuclear Physics or Airport Equipment.
*Ideally a degree in Electrical Engineering, however, other relevant qualifications will also be considered.
*Must possess excellent problem solving abilities and be self motivated and mange their own time well.
*Must be prepared to travel upto 30% of the time within your territory, however, on some occasions you will be asked to travel internationally.
*Must speak fluent German and be eligible to travel throughout Europe.
