Job Summary: 

One of the world's leading technical engineering companies is looking for a Senior Distributed Control System (DCS) Engineer to support European operations, based from the Netherlands. Accountabilities/Responsibilities: 

Lead projects in the design and implementation of Process Control Applications using DCS system 
Manage Site Acceptance Tests (SATs), Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs) etc. 
Liaise with customers to ensure requirements are managed and completed on time and within budget 
Support operations from office and customer locations, including commissioning activities 
Support Project Manager within your field of expertise 
Conduct quality checks and review sub-contractors 

Essential Skills & Capabilities: 

Degree in engineering or scientific discipline (e.g. Process, Chemical, Automation etc.) 
Fluent English, Dutch speaking is desirable but not essential 
Strong team player, with friendly and open communication skills 
Proactive and ability to work lead and manage teams of engineers 
Willingness to travel to support projects when required (majority of work based in the Netherlands) 

Required Experience: 

5 years' + experience in leading/managing process automation projects 
Adept at reading functional design documentation and producing project documentation 
Implement control applications according to design documents 
Strong IT skills, including MS Access
