The Associate Systems Test Engineer will be responsible for executing tests for verification and validation of products.                                                      
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Assist in the development Requirements Specification documents
  • Assist in the development and execution of system testing including:
  • a) Software
  • b) Mechanical
  • c) Electrical
  • d) Packaging
  • Assist the generation of concise requirements specifications, test plans, test protocols and test reports
  • Participates and executes verification and validation testing protocols
  • Assists in troubleshooting and debugging of new electronic hardware/software systems
  • Proactively provides regular updates and status to functional manager and/or senior management
Qualifications:MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
  • Requires a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience in software design / systems test
  • Experience in software development and/or test development in a windows environment including experience developing software products with C/C++, Visual Studio, MFC
  • Regulated industry test experience
  • An understanding of black box, acceptance, stress, performance, and usability testing
  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
  • Ability to work with other engineers using diplomacy and tact and to maintain confidentiality
  • Ability to organize and prioritize workflow, work under pressure and to meet established timeframes
  • Advanced Microsoft Office and Windows skills
DESIREABLE QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Familiar with a Requirements Management tools
  • Ultrasound Experience
  • Knowledge of embedded applications
