The Associate Systems Test Engineer will be responsible for executing tests for verification and validation of products. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist in the development Requirements Specification documents
Assist in the development and execution of system testing including:
a) Software
b) Mechanical
c) Electrical
d) Packaging
Assist the generation of concise requirements specifications, test plans, test protocols and test reports
Participates and executes verification and validation testing protocols
Assists in troubleshooting and debugging of new electronic hardware/software systems
Proactively provides regular updates and status to functional manager and/or senior management
Qualifications:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Requires a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience in software design / systems test
Experience in software development and/or test development in a windows environment including experience developing software products with C/C++, Visual Studio, MFC
Regulated industry test experience
An understanding of black box, acceptance, stress, performance, and usability testing
Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
Ability to work with other engineers using diplomacy and tact and to maintain confidentiality
Ability to organize and prioritize workflow, work under pressure and to meet established timeframes
Advanced Microsoft Office and Windows skills
DESIREABLE QUALIFICATIONS:
Familiar with a Requirements Management tools
Ultrasound Experience
Knowledge of embedded applications
