Overview of Position:Temple University, Japan Campus (TUJ), seeks applications for faculty to teach in the following areas: Calculus, Algebra, Statistics and/or Operations Management. In particular, we encourage applications from those with an interest in cross-discipline analysis and the use of technology to support student-driven learning. We encourage applications from those with an expertise in business in Japan/Asia.
Applicants should: have a relevant doctoral degree; be dedicated to teaching; have a strong record of research. The successful candidate will be an energetic person who thrives on teamwork.
Candidates capable of inter-disciplinary, comparative, and transnational research are particularly welcome. Duties include: (a) teaching undergraduate and (potentially) MBA courses; (b) project coordination; and (c) mentoring students and junior faculty. The standard teaching load is two courses in each of our three semesters. The successful candidate will contribute to the development and delivery of our international business studies program.

Qualifications & Experiences:
- A Ph.D. in Math, Statistics or a business-related discipline (emphasis on Japan/Asia preferred).
- Must be fluent in English
- Experience and excellence in teaching Calculus, Algebra, Statistics and/or Operations Management
- Have a solid record of research, consulting and /or appropriate professional achievement
- Prior experience in Japan is preferred
- Preference will be given to candidates already residing in Japan
