UN Women Consultant on Gender and HIV

Recruitment Qualifications (Minimum Requirement)
Education: • At least a Master’s degree in social science, development studies, International Relations, or other related disciplines
Work Experiences: • A minimum of five years of relevant work experience, including a demonstrated focus on working on Gender dimensions of HIV; • Experience in working with key government and non-government institutions in Cambodia on HIV and women’s human rights, with an emphasis on capacity building for strengthening accountability of duty bearers, and advocacy skills for rights holders; • Experience in developing and/or coordinating multi-country, multi-stakeholder programmes in a UN context would be an advantage; • Experience in implementation support, monitoring and evaluation of bilateral and multilateral projects.
• Proven track record of integrating gender into coordination mechanisms, especially within the UN and with national counterparts would be an advantage; • Local knowledge and understanding of cultural and socio‐political conditions affecting HIV positive women in Cambodia.
Language: • Fluency in English (Both oral and written). Proven writing and editing skills in English and an ability to convey complex ideas in a clear, direct style. Khmer an advantage
