The BBC Global Sport team provides a range of programmes and sport updates across World TV News and World Service Radio. We are looking for someone to lead our TV output for the next 6 months taking charge of the editorial agenda on a daily basis at the BBC Sport Centre in Salford
In this role, you will lead a team of providing sport for World TV News ensuring our sport bulletins across the output reflect the Global sport agenda and that News programmes on World TV are kept up to date and provided with coverage of breaking sports stories.
You will play an active role on the Global Sport management team. Some night or weekend working may be required from time to time
You will be an experienced TV producer with creative ideas and extensive knowledge of dealing with breaking stories. You will have experience of leading a team and be able to demonstrate how your skills will enable you to get the best out of people. You will know what stories work best for a Global sport audience and have experience working across platforms.
