Our mission is the efficient and sustainable clean-up of the UK nuclear legacy, ensuring that we leave a safer environment for future generations. It’s unique, complex and fascinating work. Join us, and you’ll be part of a community of experts. We’re working together to champion high standards, best practice and optimum value for money across some of the biggest projects around. Our mission is crucial; you’ll help us solve challenges that have never been encountered before.
These challenging roles will see you utilising your programme and project  expertise with a large and diverse range of stakeholder including site licence companies (SLC’s) regulators and government bodies. As our interface with SLCs carrying out major programmes and projects, you’ll be accountable for providing assurance on the delivery of outcomes and benefits.
It’s an opportunity to make a significant impact. You’ll enjoy a broad remit - from developing business cases and defining performance objectives. Planning, managing and implementing overall assurance programmes, you’ll make sure programme health is established, impact on outcomes and benefits is understood, and mitigation plans are in place. Ultimately, within each initiative, you’ll develop a programme management culture that supports both the drive towards hazard reduction and the achievement of value for money.
Educated to degree level, your track record includes the management of medium to large projects to improve business performance and the design and development of programme management approaches for multi-disciplinary programmes. Naturally, you’ll have the ability to understand performance, develop intervention plans, and take a holistic view of problems, encompassing both programme specifics and non-direct influences. We’ll expect you to be familiar with commercial and contractual requirements for large projects within the UK nuclear industry. Crucially, you’ll demonstrate excellent relationship building and communication skills, with the ability to influence across organisational boundaries.
In return, we’ll help you thrive in a rewarding role that offers endless variety in a fast paced working environment. We offer a healthy work/life balance and excellent benefits, too. And we can provide professional challenges and opportunities that are rich with the potential to enhance your career.
