This team is responsible for disposables accounting for a major portion of the company's revenue. With a focus on upstream activities, this senior manager will champion future product development efforts as well as life cycle management projects.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Develops and executes the strategic and tactical franchise business plan and initiatives for the Intravascular Imaging business
  • Drive the creation of the Marketing Business Plan for your products, utilizing cross-functional team members, to include market analysis, strategies, tactics and measurement
  • Lead cross functional teams and support global colleagues to execute 1-2 new product launches per year
  • Track business performance against objectives and forecasts, formulating new approaches and strategies as needed
  • Collaborate in the development of long-term portfolio planning and develop strategic price-setting strategies and long-term platform and product roadmap for platform and product development
  • Drive "Voice of Customer (VOC)" throughout the Product Life Cycle Process (PLCP) to establish value proposition and insure market specifications are incorporated in every phase of the project
  • Identify best practices to address key business challenges and opportunities
  • Develop strong KOL relationships to serve as advisors and partners to the business
  • Use classic marketing capabilities: market research, market segmentation, product positioning, message development, channel identification, tool and communication creation and execution to further business objectives
  • Work with Marketing Communications team to develop marketing and sales training materials to support new product introductions and competitive messaging
  • Collaborate with functional partners to execute with speed and quality
  • Serve as a clinical and functional advisor to external and internal customers
  • Exhibit professional maturity and help to foster an open, challenging, stimulating and positive environment that enables colleagues to be their best
  • Build Quality into all aspects of their work by maintaining compliance to all quality requirements
Qualifications:MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
  • Minimum of 8 years successful related business/marketing experience
  • Medical Device experience
  • Undergraduate degree required, MBA preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated success leading in a team environment
  • Demonstrated success managing complex projects
  • Ability to collaborate and work with others in a dynamic, matrix environment
