POSITION SUMMARY
Process invoices and travel expense claims to ensure compliance with local statutory laws, accounting standards, Visa corporate policies and U.S. accounting practices (GAAP).
To provide payment processing shared services to all Visa entities within the Asia Pacific Geography
JOB SCOPE
Process trade and non-trade invoices within service level agreement.
Ensure compliance with local statutory laws, FCPA, SOX, Visa corporate policies & procedures and U.S. accounting practices (GAAP).
Ensure critical deadlines are met and processes are well controlled and efficient.
Ensure payment and process controls comply with the company's accounting policies.
Ensure proper archiving and routing of invoices for approval via scanning into 170Markview.
Process expense reports within service level agreement
Ensure adherence to the policy including the Visa Inc. Anti-Bribery Policy.
Ensure expense report matches accompanying support documentation and is complete and in accordance with the Global T&E policy.
Ensure payment and process controls comply with the company's accounting policies.
Ensure employee expenses incurred are processed in an accurate and timely manner, provided that they are consistent with corporate policies and are properly documented and authorized.
Record Indirect Taxes Appropriately
Ensure Withholding Tax and GST are properly accounted for and coded correctly.
Liaise with business owners and the Tax department on treatment of withholding taxes.
Properly record taxes to the appropriate accounting codes and respective entities.
Special Assignments and Ad-hoc projects
Assist, research, and resolve invoice and payment issues with internal employees and external vendors. Provide strong customer service support and demonstrate initiative in preventing invoice and expense report issues.
Monitor and respond to queries sent to the Accounts Payable general mailbox.
Administrative/filing responsibilities associated with invoices and expense reports.
Communicate policy and procedures to internal and external customers.
Assist with internal audit, walk-through, and SOX documentation
Qualifications
Professional
Diploma
Minimum 2-3 years relevant Accounting experience
Familiar with US GAAP & Singapore tax regulations
Previous Experience in Accounts Payable
Diploma

Technical
Conversant with integrated accounting applications – particularly Oracle
