Database Coordinator


JEWISH WOMEN INTERNATIONAL (JWI) is the leading organization championing the security of women and girls, promoting healthy relationships and economic independence through innovative programs, advocacy and philanthropic initiatives.

THE DATABASE COORDINATOR is responsible for managing JWI's constituent database, The Raiser's Edge in order to ensure the accuracy and integrity of JWI's donor, member, and prospect lists. This person also develops and oversees administrative systems for the database, runs reports, and trains other staff assisting with the database. This position reports to the Director of Marketing and works closely with all departments to meet their database needs.

Major Responsibilities:

Create and update database records in a timely and accurate manner.

Perform systemwide updates including merging of records, assigning of codes and attributes, and software updates.

Run lists, queries, and reports from The Raiser's Edge.

Process constituent sign-up requests and changes from Blackbaud NetCommunity.

Provide database support for JWI's National Alliance to End Domestic Abuse.

Train and assist other staff assigned to work in the database on specific projects.

Qualifications:

Background in computer technology with knowledge of fundraising and constituent management software.

Experience with The Raiser's Edge and other Blackbaud products preferred.

Strong attention to detail.

Good problem solving skills.

Ability to work independently and as a part of a team.
