The role
Reporting to the Environmental and Social Impact Assessment Principal / Team Leader, the main objective of the Consultant will be to contribute knowledge to ESIA projects across a range of industry sectors to ensure technical excellence and to assist in the preparation of specifications, proposals and other documentation and projects with the support and guidance of our senior staff. This is a unique opportunity to build your environmental management knowledge and work with a highly experienced and professional team.  

Key accountabilities will include:
  • Assisting with the preparation of reports, proposals and correspondence;
  • Liaison with sub consultants, stakeholders, clients and other parties;
  • Preparation for and undertaking fieldwork;
  • Monitoring of all operations for compliance with statutory regulations, environmental laws and company policy.
The person
The successful candidate will be degree qualified in environmental/social science, engineering, planning or related discipline with experience in a private consulting capacity or relevant industrial/government sectors with knowledge of ESIAs, EMPs, EMSs or similar. You will demonstrate excellent planning, organisational and time management skills; a proactive approach to day to day operations as well as developed communication and presentation skills. This role may require some travel within Australia and Internationally.
