Public Relations Account Manager Ying Communications - Singapore


An Account Manager (Public Relations) will take the lead on an account with guidance from the Director, Public Relations. He/She will provide guidance Account Executives supporting that client. He/she will also be expected to support new business development including the preparation of proposals, as well as nurture relationships with both existing and potential clients.
  • Develop, maintain and extend client relationships
  • Main day-to-day point of contact for client
  • Develop a deep understanding of the client’s business to develop relevant communications strategies and plans
  • Manage all aspects of the account including planning, execution, reporting and financials (overall budgets, quotes, invoices, contracts)
  • Support new business development including the preparation of proposals, as well as nurture relationships with both existing and potential clients.
  • Consistently meet client deadlines and quality standards for the team on projects.
  • Development of materials including byliners, press releases, email interview answers and other content
  • Media relations including pitching to the media interviews, setting up media roundtables/press conferences interviews and other media engagements
  • Preparation of WIP, monthly and project-end reports

Desired Skills & Experience

The ideal candidate will possess:
  • Between 3 to 7 years of relevant experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint
  • Ability to write well and quickly
  • Strong media pitching skills
  • Client management

  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Self-motivated, friendly and outgoing personality
