Sales Manager (General Packaging)
The role of the Sales Manager (General Packaging) will primarily be business development into new accounts and client servicing of existing relationships and upselling new products. This will involve regular travelling to the primary target markets within Asia Pacific, particularly China, to meet up with relevant stakeholders, and carry out market research to plan out business strategies in line with market demands.
The role will work closely with engineers and procurement of mass manufacturers of dry foods, hygiene and consumer products. As the first point of contact in the sales cycle, it is important that the incumbent is able to communicate and present the company’s line of product offerings to key stakeholders. As the account manager, the incumbent will work with the application and technical team to facilitate the successful application and installation into clients’ manufacturing processes and maintenance till end of product life.
Desired Skills & Experience
The successful candidate will ideally hold a Mechanical Engineering degree; possess at least 3 – 5 years B2B sales and client servicing experience as well as fluency in both English and Mandarin. Extensive training will be provided to ensure the candidate is equipped with the right technical know-how.
