Technology Senior Manager – Infrastructure & Networking

Description:
The candidate will be leading the Infrastructure & Networking track of a national eServices/IT Strategy Program. The candidate should actively establish, maintain and strengthen internal and external relationships and will be mainly responsible for service delivery including delivery of work products, project and people management, also identify potential business opportunities for PwC.  The candidate will be responsible to manage client’s expectation and produce high quality results. Below are key responsibilities:
  • Responsible for delivering the project objectives within budget and time
  •  Responsible for developing project charters and plans as well as program plans
  • Responsible for building and delivering a complete Technology Infrastructure & Networking assessment utilizing technology methodologies (i.e.: IT Governance, Enterprise Architecture, etc), best practices (i.e.: COBIT, ISO27001, etc) and technology reference model that is aligned with TOGAF which contains the following areas:
– IT Infrastructure (Connectivity, Servers, Switching and Routing, Security, Backup & Storage, Data Centre and IT facilities, physical and environmental security, sourcing).
– IT Security Policies and Controls covering asset management, communications and operations management, access control, information systems acquisition, development and maintenance, information security incident management, business continuity management)
– Use IT best practices (such as ITIL v3, COBIT4.1, and ISO27001) to assess:
o Information needs (Data Architecture).
o IT Platform (Databases, Operating systems, Applications, web services, and web applications).
o IT Infrastructure (security, network, network based services, servers & storage (hardware components), and personal computing).
o Business Applications (Applications Architecture).
  • Responsible for managing the development of technology Infrastructure & Networking assessment depicting the existing technology infrastructure, etc.
  •  Responsible for  managing and reviewing the development the Network and Infrastructure Target Architectures which contain.
– The Secure Network Architectures
– The IT Common / Central Network Architecture
– Central Data Centre Reference Architecture
– Government IT Disaster Recovery approach
  • Responsible for reviewing deliverables and ensuring adherence to scope and completion of work
Qualifications & Skills:
  • 7 to 12 years of experience
  • PMP Certified
  • Network, Systems and Security (administration or design) related certificates are required
  • ITIL or CoBIT certification
  • Technical Architectures design
  • At least managed 3 eServices/IT Strategy/ Business Processes re-Engineering projects delivery (from initiation to closing with at least 4 people reporting to him in each project)
  • Updated and aware of technology trends in infrastructure, data centers, security and platform, cloud computing
  • Experience in data center assessment and design
  • Technical Requirements Definition of infrastructure components
