Rockwell Collins is developing new Fly-By-Wire system capability. We are seeking to add a high-energy person as a Systems Engineer on the Commercial Systems Fly-By-Wire Systems Team. The selected candidate will contribute to systems development for primary flight control Fly-By-Wire systems. Specific tasks include writing system level requirements, conducting system level design, collaborating with hardware and software engineers to determine designs, conducting trade studies, capturing design decisions, documenting interface design information and data flow, writing and executing system level tests, and performing system integration testing.
The selected candidate must be motivated to learn at a fast pace, have strong written and verbal communication skills, and be able to work autonomously or in a highly interactive team environment. Experience with system engineering process, control systems theory, aerospace engineering, hardware design, software design, requirements definition, requirements verification, and hardware/software integration is desirable for this role. Leadership experience and aptitude is a plus.
Education:
Bachelor's of Science such as EE, Cmp Eng, Aero Eng or other relevant engineering discipline.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in an applicable engineering or science field.
